Tier 3: Family & Friends Walk in Faith

Tier 3 tickets are usable for either Oct 3rd or Oct 4th now

Event Times: 8:00am - 11:00am for both days

October 3rd Start Location: Windsor Locks High School Auditorium

October 4th Start Point: Grand St & NB General Hospital, Walnut Hill Park, New Britain CT, 06051

Family and Friends Walk in Faith

This tier is for those that don't have the ability to hike or are just looking for something easier to enjoy the day with friends and family. This Tier is also for those who are out of state who can't make it to CT. We encourage those challengers to hike where they are at their favorite spots and post your experience on our Facebook page. Challengers can walk as far as they want within a 3 hour period. The only requirement is to have fun and enjoy the day. This is a day we hope can actively rest and draw closer to your family and friends. There will be vendors, food, and games that will also be included throughout the day.

It is encouraged that families bring what they need for their little ones if they plan on spending the entirety of the day. Families will need to supply their own hydration for the day and snacks as desired. Reference pg.3 under the October 4th Time-Table in the Information packet below or in the attached email after registration on how the day will be conducted.

There is no time or distance requirement for this event. Here is a rough breakdown for families of how the day will go in advance for families to plan accordingly. This is the same Time-Table in the information packet and is subject to change up until September 26th, 2025.

Day 2 (All Tiers)

0800-0830 Event Check-In & Welcome.

0830-0900 Small Sermon from Take Up Your Mantle President

0900-0945 Special Guest or Veteran(s) Stories of overcoming adversity

0945-1000 Memorial Pushups, National Anthem, & Mounting up for Infil

1000-1015 Convoy to Infil SP 2 (Tier 1 & 2 Only)

1015-1930 Event Start, HooYah! (Tier 3 Ends @1100)

There's an Information packet below. The packet is primarily for Tier 1 & 2, but challengers who plan on pushing themselves in the park or the school can still use this to help them be prepared (Navigation, Communications, Water Tables, Basic Food Recommendations, Emergencies, and any other Equipment Recommendations).
